OUR STORY
close-knit family, two brothers sharing a common vision and then passing on their
values to the next generation, all this and more makes up the story of Champagne Huré-Fréres: started just over 50 years ago and still very much a family business.Today Raoul Huré and his two sons, Francois and Pierre invite you to discover their maison at Ludes in the Montagne de Reims.

What we believe in : Champagne is a patchwork quilt of different terroirs with each Village, each slope and eachplot of land offering its own unique aromatic profile. Everything we do is designed not only to respect these differences but to express them as much as possible. When it comes to our Winemaking we select only the finest grapes so as to make champagnes that are complex and elegant: a living reflection, in fact, of the soil from which they are born.
Different yet unique, our champagnes are waiting to be discovered by lovers of fine Wine everywhere

FRANÇOIS HURÉ
1978
He’s always been around the vineyard and the winery since he was just a little boy. After graduating from the winemaking course (National Diploma of Enology) in Burgundy, he decides to practice first in Burgundy for Domaine De Montille and Hospices de Beaune, then in Rhone Valley for M. Chapoutier.
After a few years in France, he was very interested to discover New World Wines, and went to work for Coldstream Hills Winery in Australia and Pegasus Bay Winery in New Zealand.
He came back in Champagne to work for the family business in 2005,and took over with his dad in 2008. He’s very precise in his winemaking approach and loves his champagne to reflect the origin of the fruit, he’s always looking for the good balance and the freshness in his wines.
PIERRE HURÉ
1985
Pierre has always been passionated by the plant especially vine. After graduating of Viticulture and oenology in Beaune, he completed his scholarship with an engineering course in viticulture in the Rhone Valley. He decided to take over the family estate joining his brother in 2013, after working in several places in France and New Zealand:
FREDON Bourgogne in Beaune (Burgundy)
-Domaine d'Ardhuy in Corgoloin (Burgundy)
-Domaine Barge in Ampuis (North Rhone Valley)
-Seresin estate in Marlborough (New Zealand)
His aim is simple, but although hard to achieve: to obtain a balanced vineyard development, the only way according to him, to have balanced wine, which are representative of the original terroir .
RAOUL HURÉ
1951
He's from the beginning the Vine grower (vigneron) from Huré Frères.
His skills and his precise observation in the vineyard are the keys of the soil and environment respect he always looks to promote.
Nobody knows the Huré Frères terroir as he does and his open minded spirit is definitely a major advantage for the new generation to obtain the best of each block.
